List of Circlets

This is a list of every piece of headwear in the Golden Sun series that the games categorize as "Circlets". Mechanically, in Golden Sun and The Lost Age, they are distinguished from other armor types by which Adepts can equip them: the "caster-style" Adepts Ivan and Mia in the first game, alongside Jenna and Sheba in the second game. None of these four Adepts can wear Helms, which all four of the "warrior-style" Adepts can wear; on the other hand, all eight Adepts in the GBA series can wear Hats, Crowns, and other "general" headwear.

In Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, Circlets can be worn by Karis, Rief, Amiti, and Himi, the four most "caster-like" Adepts. Furthermore, while Sveta cannot normally wear Circlets, she can wear any Circlet that can only be worn by female party members.

Introduced in Golden Sun

Circlet: Adds 6 Defense. A common head armor purchased for 120 coins at Vault (and then Bilibin and Imil) in Golden Sun, and is part of Ivan's starting equipment. In The Lost Age, it is purchased at Madra (and then Alhafra and Garoh), and is part of Sheba's starting equipment. Sells for 90 coins.
• In Dark Dawn, it is purchased at Carver's Camp (and then Harapa), making it permanently unavailable once you take off for the Clouds of Passaj. Is part of Rief's starting equipment.

Silver Circlet: Adds 16 Defense. A common head armor purchased for 1,300 coins at Xian (and then Altin and Kalay) in Golden Sun and at Naribwe (and then Kibombo) in The Lost Age. Sells for 975 coins.
• In Dark Dawn, it is purchased at Ayuthay (and then Passaj), and is part of Amiti's starting equipment.

Guardian Circlet: Adds 25 Defense. A common head armor purchased for 3,400 coins at Tolbi in Golden Sun and at Apojii Islands in The Lost Age. Sells for 2,550 coins.
• In Dark Dawn, it is purchased at Te Rya Village, making it permanently unavailable once you approach the Alchemy Dynamo's pedestal in Belinsk Ruins.

Glittering Tiara: Adds 27 Defense, and can be Used in battle to attempt to Delude up to three enemies, but can only be equipped or Used by females. An Artifact head armor that is one of the prizes randomly won by tossing a Lucky Medal into the Lucky Medal Fountain in Tolbi. Sells for 2,700 coins; if its Use function is broken, it will cost 900 coins to repair, and the item will sell for 1,800 coins until then.
• In Dark Dawn, it is found in a chest in Barai Pond while the water level is set to low.

Platinum Circlet: Adds 29 Defense. A common head armor purchased for 4,200 coins at Lunpa (and then Lalivero) in Golden Sun and at Izumo (and then Contigo) in The Lost Age. If a Gold Password is not being used, this will be part of Ivan and Mia's starting equipment following the Reunion. Sells for 3,150 coins.
• In Dark Dawn, it is purchased at Belinsk, Port Rago, and Saha Town, making it permanently unavailable once you initiate the Gloom Skorpna battle at Belinsk's docks. It is part of Himi's starting equipment.

Mythril Circlet: Adds 34 Defense and 3 PP recovered at the end of each turn. An Artifact head armor found in a chest in Lunpa Fortress, requiring the Cell Key (and a fair amount of backtracking) to open the gate leading to it. Sells for 5,250 coins.
• In Dark Dawn, it is found in a chest in Teppe Ruins, making it permanently unavailable once you approach the Alchemy Dynamo's pedestal in Belinsk Ruins.

Clarity Circlet: Adds 21 Defense and 15 Jupiter Power. An Artifact head armor found in a chest in Air's Rock. Sells for 1,125 coins.

Pure Circlet: Adds 29 Defense and 20 Mercury Power. An Artifact head armor that is one of the random outcomes (with 25% probability) of bringing a Tear Stone to the Blacksmith in Yallam, which costs 3,700 coins to then buy. Sells for 2,775 coins.

Astral Circlet: Adds 32 Defense and 15 maximum PP. An Artifact head armor that is one of the random outcomes (with 20% probability) of bringing a Star Dust to the Blacksmith in Yallam, which costs 4,600 coins to then buy. Sells for 3,450 coins.

Brilliant Circlet: Adds 36 Defense and 10 Luck. An Artifact head armor that is one of the prizes randomly won by tossing a Lucky Medal into the Lucky Medal Fountain in Lemuria. Sells for 4,575 coins.

Psychic Circlet: Adds 39 Defense and 12 PP recovered at the end of each turn. An Artifact head armor that is one of the random outcomes (with 15% probability) of bringing a Mythril Silver to the Blacksmith in Yallam, which costs 8,800 coins to then buy. Sells for 6,600 coins.

Berserker Band: Adds 46 Defense and 15 Attack. An Artifact head armor that drops from Drujs in later Islet Cave at a 1/128 chance (or 1/32 if slain using an offensive Mars Djinni). Sells for 10,275 coins.

Demon Circlet: Adds 50 Defense and 15% to Unleash rate. A Cursed Artifact head armor that is one of the random outcomes (with 15% probability) of bringing a Dark Matter to the Blacksmith in Yallam, which costs 15,800 coins to then buy. Sells for 11,850 coins.
• In Dark Dawn, it is one of the random outcomes of bringing a Dark Matter to the Blacksmith in Champa, which is crafted for free.

Zol Tiara: Adds 37 Defense and 30 Jupiter Resistance, and can only be equipped by females. An Artifact head armor that is one of the random outcomes of bringing a Quality Zol to the Blacksmith in Champa, which is crafted for free. Sells for 4,500 coins.
